JONCHEN - [John'-chen] the five foot ten boy was big for his age. He took after his father in body, built like a warrior, even at this young age. Because of the martial arts training that he was receiving, his muscles were well developed and he was surprisingly coordinated. His spiritual training had been started in his mother's womb. He had his mother's hair color, but with more curl, and had his father's skin tone and texture. That clear olive complexion gave him an air of confidence and vibrant health. His voice had already reached its manly state with deep rich tones that commanded instant respect and obedience.
CARA - Jonchen's mother was only twenty-seven years old in physical years, but far beyond that in spiritual years. She stood five foot seven inches tall in her sandals, had a slender, well formed body with flawless complexion and strawberry blonde hair that had a slight natural curl to it as it flowed around her face and shoulders. She carried herself with an air of majestic humbleness.
Cara was a woman/child of the natural universe, a healer and a righter of wrongs.
SHERNIK - was a girl that was in one of the families that Jonchen's mother allowed him to see through her vision. Her hair was golden with no curl and hung long down her back, having never been cut since birth. She was tall and slender and took pride in keeping herself neatly but simply clad. Her hands were strong with long fingers that were supple and looked like those of person with great spiritual strength and powers, which were being cultivated by Shawnauk.
Shawnauk - Shernik's spiritual teacher, the old healer couldn't reach out to Cara with him mind unless there was an emergency, but she could reach him anytime she wished. A gift that Shawnauk often wished that he had.Urook Manning, a carekeeper, also a doctor, fall's in love with Cara. He had a rustic look about him with a kind face, definitely not the look of a carekeeper. Care-keepers, dressed in red and gold body-suits, were a group of unfeeling men and women who were the overseers of all that went on in the city, Myriad. They set down rules and regulations and saw that these rules were enforced. They cared for nothing but the enforcement of their laws. Menace - 30 lb. spy-cat placed in Cara's home by the Care-keepers. This cat looked threatening in appearance with a marble colored, scruffy coat of fur and a look that seemed to penetrate into one's soul. She wore a large collar around her neck that was a device used to spy on the household where she resided.
